Kadir’s Tree Houses, an important representative of nature tourism in Turkey, is one of the brands that have booked their stand at EMITT 2022. We spoke to Kadir Kaya from Kadir’s Tree Houses about tourism industry, Kadir’s Tree Houses and why they have chosen EMITT for their brand.
Can you tell us why you are exhibiting at EMITT?

As Kadir’s Tree Houses, we are an important representative of nature tourism in Turkey and around the world. The pandemic which the world has been under the influence of for more than a year, caused us to requestion our freedom and our needs. We are providing a setting for a holiday understanding where our guests can interact with nature, which we can also call “experience holiday”. The reason why we want to be at EMITT is to meet our friends again at a platform we missed a lot and where we can share our ideas and experiences to strengthen the connection between people and nature.

Who are you planning to meet at the exhibition?

We are planning on meeting with business partners who want to support and keep nature and sports tourism alive in Turkey, and with whom we can work outside of ordinary hotel accommodation understanding, focusing on happy experiences. Additionally, in consideration with their requests, we hope to be able to explain alternative solutions and our experiences first-hand to customers who want to be in nature instead of staying indoors in a facility and have the changing holiday understanding.
What are your thoughts on EMITT and what are your expectations from the exhibition?
EMITT has been an interaction and sharing point for tourism professionals. When I recall the friendships we gained there, I believe we’ll find the motivation to revitalize the currently stagnant tourism industry together.

Why should industry professionals visit EMITT?
Dynamics of tourism are constantly changing. Therefore, it must be a priority for us who have given their hearts and years to this business to witness the demand, innovations and the changing tourism world from the first row.

Tourism industry is one of the hardest-hit industries from the pandemic. In what ways do you think EMITT will help you and the industry in general?
Safe tourism is one of people’s most important expectations in this period. In this tough period, we are hoping EMITT will be able to explain safe tourism understanding in an easier way.

What are your insights, expectations and forecasts for the industry in Turkey and around the world for this year?
Turkey is a market that is far from the ordinary, can surpass other tourism centers in the world with facility opportunities and uncharted natural beauties, has a high tourism potential and is open to development and alternatives. We are foreseeing that we are about to enter a period where safe tourism will be more prevalent at all destinations and that people’s worries will lessen.
