Where are Turkish tourists going?

In 2017, the most popular destination for Turkish tourists was neighbouring Georgia. 1,000,278 Turkish tourists hopped over the border to visit Georgia in 2017.

Following Georgia in the top spots were:

Greece – 921,262

Before this visa-free regime was introduced in 2010, the number of tourists visiting Georgia barely reached 200,000, now, more than 1 million Turkish tourists visited Georgia in 2017.”
