Why does Prime Travel choose EMITT?
2024 edition of EMITT is set to open its doors on February 6th, 2024.
Prime Travel, which has been exhibiting at EMITT since 2019, is one of the companies that secured their stands at the 2024 edition of the exhibition. Head of Contracting of Prime Travel, Aykut Küçük answered our questions about the activities of Prime Travel and why they choose EMITT for their business.
Can you tell us about your company and its activities?
Prime Travel started its activities in 2016 as a local DMC. Since the day we were founded, our goal was to grow in the global world and make a name for ourselves; and we took the first step in this regard by establishing our Bedsopia brand in Dubai. With Bedsopia, Prime Travel has become a global company. As a next step, we have founded our Goodotel brand in the U.S. as a B2C counterpart and started selling to end-users. We are conducting operations of these three companies with our employees in Turkey mainly and in Dubai, Spain, U.S., Argentina, New Zealand, India and Thailand.
What are your reasons for choosing EMITT?
We can say that among tourism exhibitions in Turkey, EMITT is the one with the heaviest participation in terms of both local and global participation. This is why we are happy to exhibit at EMITT since 2019.
What are your expectations from EMITT?
EMITT is important to us both because of new business connections and because we are getting together with our partners in our country. Our expectation is that it continues to be a tourism focused exhibition, local and global participations to which increase every year.
Why should industry professionals visit EMITT?
EMITT is able to create business opportunities to all stakeholders in the tourism industry. We think that tourism stakeholders should absolutely visit because of business connections, partner relations and new opportunities, regardless of their area of activity.
What is your overview of tourism industry in 2023 and your foresights on 2024?
2023 has been a year with high expectations after 2022, which went really well. However, even though the earthquake in our country, the election and events in the world have made it seem like expectations haven’t been reached, we know that some companies have exceeded their 2022 numbers. In 2023, we have grown by 45% in Turkey and 60% in the world. When we look at our numbers for 2024, we can foresee that a better year than 2023 awaits us. When we compare our entry into 2024 with 2023’s, I can say that the numbers are higher. We think that our stakeholders with accurate expectations will have a happier year in 2024.
